Status Update Falon II

Up to 45k – on Falon II – The Painting – and still plugging right along. Had a 5k day yesterday or rather a 4.8k (Lol – the wife sent me to bed with the kids ahahahaha so I couldn’t round it off) but other than that been steadily churning out 2k a day. Its not as fast as I might like but on the other hand I’m on pace for for the end of Feb 1st draft that I’m looking for.

Still no word on the brother’s editing status for Akantha II. Its frustrating but I just have to keep reminding myself that the Spineward Sectors are not the center of the universe. Only the center of ‘my’ universe hahahhahahhahaha!

So its all good, even if not quite running at an ideal pace. However I’m still excited to get my hands on the Sword of Friendship book and see what my brother’s been up to.

Other than all this not too much to report. Steady Eddy. If I think of something I’ll add it as a comment.

Have a blast!

Glad to hear its going so well, though I’d like to point out the universe revolves around the Spineward Sectors, not opposite.
Therefore, as a conclusion it means that all that so far happened in our universe up to this moment, are meant to be the ‘mold’ to create you, to make the circumstances which will define you as a person, all so the Spineward Sector series could be made. (Damn, thats impressive maybe you should apply for a religion permit? )

The less news about your brothers book just makes me want to read it more, heh.
    Damn teasing.

    LOL

What am I going to do with you, Emil? Although when I was young we joked about me rising out of the bunker on a cushion of air (snicker and if that doesn’t sound even more crazy than it was then I’m not the creator of the Spineward Sectors!). Of course the ‘bunker’ was in reference to the saw-mill’s shavings bunker that you would open the bottom of to fill up semi-truck vans with and the cushion of air referred to that same sawmill’s air system used to suck the shavings from the planer machine into the shavings bunker.

Ah memories. I think we were going to have our own language called wachter-bonics as well. As a homage to the (at the time) new eubonics ‘language’.

Oh that was fun. (you can tell I used to work in a planner/sawmill for a few years, or what?)

Anyway you are a ‘true fan’ Emil. And I’ll do my best to get this Falon book out the door so I can start working on the real book you’re interested in.

Nothing you can do about me now, gone crazy from Spineward Sector withdrawal.. I havnt gotten my fix yet! Need next book..
Wachter-bonics huh.. Well, cant be worse than chinese.. (They got like thousands of letters.. Urk..)
I had no clue that you once used to work in a sawmill, but nice factoid that I can put on any fan sites of yours I find. (Perhaps its time to add you to Wikipedia?)
    Cushion of air.. Heh 🙂

Glad to hear your as excited about next book as I am, but dont let me rush you to finish the Falcon book, though I do love (Addicted) to the Spineward Sectors and our lil’ Admiral, I do not want you to release lower quality books! No matters what kind of books they are! It would be a spot of shame on my honor if that would happen!

Note: Really looking forward to the next book. I think I’ll go re-read the Spineward Sector series from the start now..

    LOL

Enjoy the reread. And yeah I started working at the ‘Sawmill’ before it was really a saw mill but a reman (short for remanufacture) facility that expanded from just smoothing out rough cut or splitting it to actually chopping up the logs. I started in that at, wow, helping out around age 12 or 13 and from then on until nursing. Then after nursing, writing and now….

Anyway glad I can give you a few quality factoids and hope you keep enjoying the books! That’s my goal.

I’m currently about 2/3rds of the through the 2nd book and I’ve kind of stalled out. I was hoping to have the draft done a week ago but no dice. I’m debating whether to finish it or just switch over to writing the next mainline admiral book.

Not entirely happy with everything right at the moment 🙁

But either way I need to get off my duff and write!
