Let the Jealousy Begin!

The first ten E-ARC betas (everyone who applied) should have received a copy of the book from manilawarrior. If you requested the ARC of Book 4 Admiral’s Trial and don’t have it yet, check your spam filter!

The rest of you slack jawed individuals can now writhe with all the power of the dark side, knowing that if you’d only clicked the widget you too could have had an e-copy available for your viewing pleasure but so sad were too something not to click it!!!

But wait that’s not all!!! We are still accepting applications for our lottery at this time. So hurry before the last e-seats are taken!

I’m not promising that everyone who asks for an advanced copy of Admiral’s Trial will get one. So turn in your electronic ticket by asking for an e-arc and pressing the signup/report an error button and see what happens!

So you mean a free copy of the book when its out?
No thanks, I’d rather buy it myself and support you.

Was lucky enough to sign up yesterday just in time to help with this! Of course I then proceeded to get the email as I lay in bed to get some sleep, and immediately got up to get reading!

8 hours later my spirits are high, I’m badly in need of coffee, and I’m ready to join the Confederation MSP Fleet! Maybe I can get stationed on Gambit! šŸ˜›

@Emil: I’m just giving out beta copies in word file format to you guys who’ve requested it. If you want the amazon version you’ll probably have to pay.

    lottery=e-arc

@Exo: Great news! Long live the MSP! Sweet Cryin Murphy its taken them long enough. BTW – Glad to hear you enjoyed it! When you get a chance to give us more of your thoughts, feel free to do so. Probably best if you do so in reply to the email, I’m not a stickler for such things but a lot of people don’t like to be spoiled.

On the other hand…. all they had to do was apply. So I’m not feeling too terribly, sympathetic. (evil grin)

Damn, I tried to read the book slowly this time.. I did my best, a slow-record of 11 hours of reading.
A freaking record for me among any of the books, never taken me this long b4.
Do forgive me for sending like 8-9 mails to you, have to admit, it does now pop up to me afterwards that it could have been most likely much efficient of me to to you to just summarize it into a .doc file and sent you it. I blame it on feelings going high, hell, I was shaking at the end of the book, barely was able to sit down!

I intend to re-read the book tomorrow most likely, or maybe I’ll wait for the Amazon release? But, I don’t think I can handle that kind of mental torture..

And to quote ‘Exo’: Iā€™m ready to join the Confederation MSP Fleet!

Now, off to bed and dream of a bald-headed Spalding battling lazy engineers, incompetent committees and building himself a new exhaust valve.

Alex & vonbrant – I’ll see if there is something we can do about the captcha thingy. I have your exact problem on facebook, so I feel your pain, truly.

Just fired off the next 10 e-arcs. So we’re up to 20 new beta’s so far. Not entirely sure how many free copies we’re going to give out here. I will say this about that though. For those individuals who give feed back on the books and/or leave a review on amazon, they will probably be on the short list for if/when we do this with following books, say Admiral’s Revenge just as a for instance.

    Just an FYI. (evil smile)

I wonder how long it takes you to write and publish each book?
Seems to me that you write quite fast but still with great quality.
Hmm, maybe you are a natural writer? God blesses ous all in different ways.

Took me 10 years of doodling around to get where I am today and along the way I was asked if english was my second language (english=only language). So nothing natural about the writing, it was a slow painful progression.

However i did spend about two decades playing D&D and game mastering, that requires you to keep full rapidly evolving stories in your head, so long as you’re doing it right, and not just forcing a static world on your characters.

when I’m hot, I figure 4 weeks give or take a week to write a book and an equal amount to edit. figure 2 months. Although I’m not always hot.

    Holy shit!
Right, I’ll be realistic, 5 books per year is fine. (See, 2 months leeway ;D)

You’ve got to factor in some decompression/down time. Which doesn’t just help me it also gives me time to come up with cooler plot lines (hopefully :)) )

Already penning my review, and if, what I am guessing is anyway, the preview of the next book is anything to go by… F#$%*@g F&*# yes… Pardon the french… My only problem is the same problem I had with all the others, it ended…

Will try to find some more time to read it again (I actually stopped half way through an important “School” project to read it the first time) and I will send off an email with any mistakes/errors I find.

But until then, I will continue to write my review!

But that was awesome as always! Thanks.

Glad you enjoyed! We aim to please and all that.

Remember any feed back on areas to improve and things that could be made clearer, better, or seemed to have been dropped… say like Cousin Bethany in book 3 for instance. Are or at least can be greatly helpful. We can’t implement everything you guys point out but we do try to address them if if clicks with us or if enough people are crying foul!

We changed the captcha a bit, so see if it works for you, now. I’m afraid that’s the extent of what we can do on this site, at least for now. I’m going to look into other methods by which we can accomplish the same objective, but they’re of no immediate help šŸ™
