Ashes for Ashes, Blood for Blood

Ashes for Ashes, Blood for Blood

Staggered across the finish line last night and the 1st draft of Akantha II has just been turned over to the brother.

It came in at an initial size of 73,510 words which makes Ashes for Ashes, Blood for Blood, roughly twice the size of Eyes of Ice, Heart of Fire the previous Akantha novella and so while Akantha II is only about half the size of a mainline Admiral book, it is now the size of most other author’s full size novels.

I hope you guys enjoy it when it gets to beta format. Here is the link to my blog post over on the other side.

Hahahaha, sorry. I’m currently 25k into The Painting, Falon II. AI is coming up in the production line right after that.

But I’m glad you liked it!

I feel your pain Emil. I’m also wishing I had the next book about ready to shoot out the door! Admiral Invincible is going to be a fun one to write no doubt about it but the one I’m really looking forward to putting out there are the Admiral’s troubles after he deals with the Droid Problem in 23 and 24 (wink).

Well as i do have the major events plotted out for the next two books… after AI, I mean. It does seem kind of greedy of me not to share it.

    LOL

Anyway Falon II proceeds apace, although the Brother is definitely lagging behind. I think its harder to work on editing your own novel, because you’ve already seen it before, than it is to start fresh on something new. Right now he’s still stuck in the middle of the Sword of Friendship book he’s just written. Although he might claim its a series of distractions holding him back 😉

I hope things are going well for you and enjoy!

Turns out I math really hates me, and I assure you its an mutual feeling.
    University math.. Urk..

Been buying a few sci fi books on amazon that looks intressting but none, not a single one, have kept up to par.
You put the standard to high for me now, cant appreciate others books. You have made your books a a double edged sword, makes others fall short.
Maybe put a warning label em’? 🙂

So your brother is writing a book? Do link it once it comes out, I’ll buy it and take a look on it. Might aswell review it.
Cant promise how many stars it will get, but I doubt I’ll regret reading it 🙂

Do keep ous up on news as to how the book progresses, making it so we cant focus on other things 🙂

An honest review is all we’re looking for. Especially before the book actually comes out we want to know about everything we need to fix!

Don’t worry about the spelling its all good 😉
